Our Story

A Note from Sarah

As a small child, my son suffered from various health issues. We couldn’t figure out why until discovering his long list of food sensitivities…. And I remember staring at the food in my pantry wondering “But what will I feed him?”

Being a mom, I naturally started making various goodies to fill the void. As it turned out, my son wasn’t the only one being left out at snack time… and realizing this turned something born of necessity into a passion for life. To sum it up in one word, FreeYumm is all about being INCLUSIVE!

I want kids to always feel included. And being free of the Big8+ Allergens makes it possible for up to 99% of kids to share in the fun! Of course, also making everything 100% Yummy, guarantees that our snacks are something everyone can enjoy. I hope you love what you discover with FreeYumm and feel inspired to share! Share The Yumm!

Elizabeth Rose is born and […]

The Changing face of Halloween! (?)

The Changing face of Halloween! (?) October 19, 2018

Like so many holidays, traditions built around Halloween have become pretty important to families and their kids. I am noticing Teal pumpkins being decorated, and allergen friendly treats being used. Even non-food treats and “candy trade-ins” are being adopted! I figure most parents are thinking “What happened to Halloween? How different it has become!” And […]

These bars are an excellent allergen-safe product

Perfect for lunch bags and quick snacks between school and sports. Both my nut-allergy child and non-allergic child love these bars, I can’t keep the snack pantry stocked enough with these. I buy them in bulk now, they are a big favorite snack bar alternative for us.

The whole family enjoyed these bars

It is nice to have allergy friendly options that are safe for our family and safe to send to school. I will be ordering again and trying the other flavors as well.
